Nicolls takes the physical energy and impact of live piano performance into a larger scale feast for the ears, with collaboratively-created pieces for piano and live electronics. In this highly experimental programme that explores spontaneous and virtuosic technology, the use of sensors, on-stage electronics and moving image enhance the visually captivating live instrumental performance.
This concert is supported by the bmic and the Contemporary Music Network.
