Soundwaves Festival 2008

Safehouse again brings some of the best in free improvisation from Brighton & Hove to the festival. A rare appearance of the guitarist Richard Chapman is this year's highlight alongside the great Gus Garside (double bass) with Dan Powell on laptop. Tonight's event also sees Geoff Hearn (saxophone), whose recent involvements have included the acclaimed band Zaum, perform in an exciting and unlikely duo with the virtuosic pianist/keyboard player Monty Oxymoron from the punk outfit The Damned.
