
Today's concerts are dedicated to the soloist with three extraordinary performers inviting us to delve into their world of oboe, voice and violin sounds. The programmes also feature new works tailored for the performers by some of the UK's most talented composers, supported by spnm.

Shoot the pianist - a collection of music by Aperghis, Fujikura, Staebler, Sørensen, Richard Thomas and Giles Swayne with pre-recorded vocal improvisations and two new works by spnm-shortlisted composers Paul Fretwell and Paul Ramshaw.
Following this concert the audience is invited to join in an open discussion with the spnm shortlisted composers.
David Alberman will perform classics of the contemporary solo violin repertoire alongside pieces specially written for him. spnm-shortlisted composers, Valerie Pearson and Stephen Mark Barchan, present works for violinists Akane Oshima and Tetsuumi Nagata who are affiliated to the LSO 'Young Talent' programme and who will be performing alongside David Alberman.
