The Duke Quartet are at home with a wide variety of music, working with Jessye Norman, Morrissey, Michael Nyman and Blur. They bring a passion and flair to music making that makes them stand out as a truly innovative ensemble. This evening they perform two pieces that have inspired listeners for many years and two new pieces for the string quartet repertoire, including a festival commission by Rolf Hind. This concert is supported by Friends of Soundwaves Festival.
